What is a SERP snippet preview?
A SERP snippet is the block Google shows in its search results for your page: a blue clickable title, a breadcrumb-style URL, and a grey meta description. This SERP snippet preview tool renders that block live as you type, so you can fine-tune your title tag and meta description before you publish and know exactly how they will look to searchers in Miami and beyond.
How to use it
- Type or paste your title tag, page URL, and meta description into the fields on the left.
- Watch the live character and pixel-width counters. Google truncates by pixels, not just characters, so both matter.
- The counter turns amber (“May be truncated”) as you approach the limit and red (“Too long”) once you pass it — the preview text is cut with an ellipsis to match.
- Toggle between Desktop, Mobile, and Both to check how the snippet wraps on each device.
Why title & description length matter
If your title runs past roughly 60 characters / 580px, Google chops it with an ellipsis and your most persuasive words can vanish. An over-length meta description (beyond about 160 characters / 920px) gets cut too, weakening the pitch that earns the click. Because Google measures rendered pixel width, a title full of wide characters can be truncated even under 60 characters — which is why this tool checks both.
Front-load your primary keyword and, where it fits naturally, your city. A title like “Miami SEO Services | Rank #1 in Local Search” leads with intent and location, so it stays compelling even if Google trims the tail.
